At that cost, you should see about getting it repaired. I can provide an excellent contact in the LA area who repairs factory audio gear.

I bought a takeoff system complete for $200 shipped from Georgia. Found it on Craigslist.
Could not find anyone who would repair the amp. Factory Service won't touch it. Completely stock, with RMW 1.6, 9.2:1, 15%, RMW head, cam & tune, OBX header, 440's, JIC c/o's, SSR Comps. 262/207 or so. |

I hear that too in Oz, the Gen 1 is 15 years old now. Have the OEM system from a gen 1 R53 if you're interested.
