RE: TVS900 Basics - 2nd Childhood - 12-02-2013 06:56 PM Thank you! Doug RE: TVS900 Basics - Penis - 12-02-2013 07:23 PM Jan, that GRS front mount across the pond is junk! I wouldn't even consider it an option. Even the guys at GRS admitted it was not worth the money. They couldn't keep the piping attached on any of the cars they tested it on, because of the way it is designed. Not to mention the pressure drop was retarded... Something like 6-7 psi! Sent from 2 cans and a string. RE: TVS900 Basics - Jan - 12-02-2013 07:26 PM I think many of those issues are fixed. Haven't had that problem on the car I have been tuning over there. Regardless it will be a good test RE: TVS900 Basics - Penis - 12-02-2013 07:31 PM That was back in 2010, so maybe they did make some improvements. Sent from 2 cans and a string. Still would rather see a FMIC that gets rid of the horns. Sent from 2 cans and a string. RE: TVS900 Basics - curv872 - 12-03-2013 01:48 PM Did you make it to SOW on Saturday? RE: TVS900 Basics - 2nd Childhood - 12-03-2013 04:24 PM Jan, From a scan of the GRS web site, it appears that the "Mk2 Charge Intercooler" is a w2a intercooler that does not require removal of the A/C like the their FMIC solution. Doug RE: TVS900 Basics - Jan - 12-03-2013 05:08 PM That charge cooler is not capable of cooling a high performance car with this much hp RE: TVS900 Basics - bluethunder - 12-03-2013 06:12 PM So fmic sounds as if its the route to go..wich im fine with that..my r53 would like to rock a fmic.. RE: TVS900 Basics - mini_racer - 12-03-2013 08:58 PM I believe on the R53 an FMIC likely means no AC condenser, and that is a difficult trade-off for those with intense Summer heat. Or just fat people who don't like to sweat. |
