RE: Forge or GTT Alloy Header Tank ? - Batrugger - 08-19-2011 06:38 PM The GTT looks really nice, but the Canton costs less and actually cleans up pretty nice. We've had ours on for over three years after blowing through two of the stckers: RE: Forge or GTT Alloy Header Tank ? - Jan - 08-19-2011 07:23 PM looking good RE: Forge or GTT Alloy Header Tank ? - Howerton Engineering - 08-20-2011 08:54 AM Since Canton won't actually make the products in their catalog, here's the generic I quickly fitted last weekend. I need to cleanup where I cut off the upper bracket and such but it fits pretty nicely in the space. The top hose is the stock unit just relocated to the front side of the PS tank, when I get an urge to tear it apart again I'll route the a new hose properly. I'm not hot on the finish or sticker either,, I'm considering sending it to the powder coater in one of our product batches to put a finish on it to match the valve cover. I'm a fan Just put in another hose so if you have overflow it won't ruin your engine bay's neatness. RE: Forge or GTT Alloy Header Tank ? - Luai - 08-21-2011 05:02 AM Jeff is this one is smaller than the OEM one? If it is, does it matter? It is smaller Luai, but it won't make a difference in flow. RE: Forge or GTT Alloy Header Tank ? - Howerton Engineering - 08-21-2011 10:45 AM Yes, it's smaller but hasn't seemed to be an issue. I'm thinking of ordering a second and asking them to put the upper bung on the opposite side of the tank so it matches up with the factory hoses. That and the black power coat would make it a slick replacement. Cost was only $75. |
