Ok, considering your symptoms its highly likely you did.
No one else has this problem but you. Have you tried any other wires.

Yes I have tried other wires. I have heard that only 1% of users use the dim function so that might explain why you haven't heard of others having problems. I didn't mean to hyjack this thread.

Yeah you caught me I am the 99%.
I demand you stop using the dimmer.
Did you ever think to tag it direct to the battery as a test to narrow
Down if its the unit or your car has wonky voltage.

Did you put a multimeter on it and press the dimming button to see if the voltage goes down when you dim it and up when you want it brighter? That is the sure fire way to check if you have the correct wire

Oh and Facebook is the Devil.

The 6 is still the gold standard. The 4 adds a lot of features for the DI market to the 3 platform.

Yes I know, but I only use it for business for announcements and such. I never use the personal page. It's faster than trying to post on a dozen different forums.

I held out as long as I could, but sometimes you have to play the game.

Which one is mine Jeff, I can't remember? I have the the main control box and the other little box that the wires go into. It was all wired and no RJ plugs.
