RE: Vipec pre-order signup! - Mendra72 - 03-02-2012 11:33 PM Jan/ Shanne / Colin - I think possibly a step by step might be a good idea in this thread or in another area for those who are willing but less familiar with the initial install and start up. I know the manual has info but it may still be more valuable to the standalone novices and may prevent headaches in the beginning. RE: Vipec pre-order signup! - BigBoSS - 03-03-2012 03:17 PM such a step by step would be nice. RE: Vipec pre-order signup! - LeeRR - 03-04-2012 02:22 PM Guys ECU is very easy to work with. There is a pin out diagram in the manual also. All I will say is - there is a glitch with the TPS calibration. Once started after first TPS calibration, it will hunt for an idle. Shut it down - key out, and restart. It'll idle as normal then. I have got wideband configured now (pin 9) which uses the YELLOW wire on the OEM o2 sensor adapter. You will need to earth your sensor, but many locations available. Also - the fan configuration is wrong. It needs to be : Aux Input 6 - NOT Aux Input 4. You need to set the water temp to activate on etc etc RE: Vipec pre-order signup! - Jan - 03-04-2012 02:38 PM Here is the proper pin out on the 3Bar Map sensor |
