I hate bringing this up again, but what are the first two types of oils I am supposed to use again Sad I have the final synthetic ready from Redline.
Need to purchase the other 2 now.

For the break in?
Use a mineral oil for the break in ... Amsoil break in , torco break in sae40, or the miller cro 10w40.

ok... My Mini is not fast enough... I think I need to go with the stroker kit or Rotrex kit.. I need to know the cost of these things so I can devise my game plan for. I was kidding myself when I thought I would be happy with the basic pulley, injectors, cam etc... I just need to bite the bullet on this and do it. This Mini has me hooked. I never imagined it would be this fun.

What do you need to make these work best with you engine. Do you need forged crank, rods, pistons or can you just get away with a good set of piston and a good engine build?

My present engine seems good but would like to run a FMIC and from what I understand the only way to take real advantage of what a FMIC has to offer in the way of air temps is either turbo, Rotrex or the Harrop thing.

If I put one of these onto my existing engine (Wossner Pistons, Balance, Ported head with Big Exh) and run appropriate boost and tune appropriately will I get a BIG gain on the standard Eaton set up (GRS TMIC) or is it a lot of money for little gain.

Price for a kit?

you are missing rods. you need rods.

I was wondering that. Mmmm, don't think I have forged rods.

So back to new engine; crank, rods, pistons with eaton them think about more boost later. Bloody AUD burning holes in ideas. Lol
