Anybody that doesnt know. E85 will eat aluminum like a fat boy with cake. So with Jan getting these anodized it will do away with that corrosion. Perfect for guys like me. C16 and Q16 are also highly corrosive so this will put a stop to that also if you like to run racegas.

Won't be needed. With the TVS a top mount will keep the charge cool enough, let alone a W2A

To be honest you really don't want to run this on a stock ecu if you want to get the most out of it.

no, but if you want to run 20+ psi of boost and want it done safely.........yesTongue
we all hear these stories of people running high hp Mini's on stock ecu......

problem is: we have NEVER seen them except for sale on ebay

Shanne when was the last time people ever modified something because it was needed? I vote for front mount option, or just a 1 off outlet to make one work. Smile

Yes this cover plate incorporates an o-ring to seal the air box to the manifold cover. The air box will be help in place by a series of 10-32 socket head cap screws that will make assembly much easier in the shop (less welding) as well as maintain the sealing integrity of the o-ring. This also should reduce the amount of air box designs that you will need to manufacture as this design can accommodate manifold with an inner cooler and ones without. So it will be very easy to go from air to air to w2a or vice versa WITHOUT having to buy an ENTIRE new intake manifold.......Pretty cool......

I feel like I have been giving birth during this transformation of parts
I always get a chuckle when other tuners talk about being on the forefront of Mini tuning
Who has made any innovative products that actually work?
