this is a "base kit"........won't make the power or anywhere near my kit
but you get to keep your a/c

RE: TVS Final Prototypes - TECH12 - 01-23-2017 08:11 AM

So the "base kit" is a top mounted version i'm assuming as yours will be a FMIC version since it's losing the A/C. Yeah I was confused with all the HARROP talk and what not, i remember reading something posted on facebook and a magazine about it. So i was just curious when i saw that post on here, i rather ask than assume something.

it's an alternative for those that want something better than stock but not something that's race ready

I think what most just people want is a replacement for the OEM Heaton M45 with a reliable, serviceable unit. If the TVS is that product if will sell like hotcakes.

If it provides a nice little boost in performance over an M45 with a 15% pulley that would be a bonus.

and it will do that

RE: TVS Final Prototypes - TECH12 - 01-23-2017 11:17 AM

Can't wait to see the numbers between the two.... well unless that's already been done. What are the key differences between the two besides keeping the a/c.

Hummmmm, TVS with A/C...Sounds tempting. Will the base kit require a built bottom end?

base kit will not need a bottom end
you are looking at about 70hp difference and a bunch of torque

Agree with Dave.o -- the heaton45 and that damn plastic inlet tube must go. and my wife doesn't need to know about the bottom end. That will be "required" ;-)
