Are you going to be able to reach power potential with the TMIC or will it need to go Air to Water or FMIC? Thanks. My thoughts are that on the standard pulley, we are not looking at a lot more pressure, but more volume of air, so it should produce cooler, denser air charge temps. The TVS has a considerably larger inlet. This mean the air flow that goes through the inlet will be slower. Slower air flow means less kinetic energy, hence less energy is transformed to heat. Therefore, I don't think the GP, or even the stock intercooler would have a problem on the basic kit. And that's why I sacrificed my pride and joy for 2 months (so far) of being dismantled for fit up on a car with an almost stock front end. Glad I have another MINI to drive or I'd be going nuts..... having missed MINI Thunder..... I'm now hoping to have all systems firing for an Easter Sunday track day at which to prove the virtues of the TVS..... and I know we'll need some time between now and the 31st for tuning and testing.
