That is fixed and I am ready to Meth tune. What caused that to happen? RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - BostonR56S - 10-27-2011 01:02 PM Common issue with lots of theories. Some say bad tensioner bolt design. Some say the bolts were never torqued correctly thus not securing the crush washer. Some say lack of oil. All we know is, he's called the stig! I mean, all we know is, it can cause the death rattle and if it backs out you'll lose all your oil over the side of your car and, may cause bad internal damage too. RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - curv872 - 10-31-2011 08:45 AM Brief update, used the hfs this weekend for autoX (very fast course, hitting third gear twice). During one of my recon laps i had a misfire, so backed of the gain one notch and everything was perfect after that! Gain - 11 Thres - 10:30 Injector - .6 Restrictor - .9 Mix - 50/50 During the event, the rad fan never came on and the outlet horn was merely warm to the touch compared to the untouchable hot inlet horn! Zero knocks and the car felt strong all day...another stockish MINI that was running, you could easily hear it knocking (oh, and my runs were 10 seconds faster than the other MINI) Very pleased! |
