Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - HbSean - 11-06-2011 11:03 PM I got everything plugged in but when I follow the startup and testing page I get CEL and no lights from the gauge Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - LASRGUY - 11-07-2011 01:33 AM The button on the gauge should turn the gauge on. If you wired in the fail safe, it will give a CEL if the gauge isn't on. Probably a waste gate error. Once you get the gauge to turn on, you should set the WL pot full ccw and the WH pot full cw to avoid getting the CEL until you have time to go through the process of calibrating the low flow and high flow set points. RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - ColinGreene - 11-07-2011 01:37 AM this is why i suggested not messing with the waste gate line and leaving it out. RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - HbSean - 11-07-2011 01:45 AM Yes, the button was pushed in as far as I know the whole system had no power.. I'm going to check the wires tapped in the ECU and make sure I didn't pinch them or something when putting the cover on. Hopefully I didn't fry something.. :edit sidenote Do you put 1 5A fuse on the add a circuit or 2 5A fuses? Quote:this is why i suggested not messing with the waste gate line and leaving it out. I did not tap for the fail-safe figured I'd wait for I was ready to get tuned RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - BigShow - 11-07-2011 02:04 AM How much we talking for the full set-up for the 56 and what jet size and mix should we be looking at? RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - ColinGreene - 11-07-2011 02:32 AM if you only put one fuse in then that could be your problem. Did you also put the fuse in for the pump. Ben, Pm Howerton Engineering on this board he can help you out. RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - HbSean - 11-07-2011 02:42 AM The little blue one? In the pump harness, back in the tank assembly, make sure you put the 15A in. RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - BostonR56S - 11-07-2011 07:43 AM 2 fuses into add-a-fuse. when I fired it up everything turned on, gauge and all, then tried to move PRK to SYS to test the flow, nothing. Called up blake and was wondering wth was going on.... and i asked about the fuse in the rear tank, he said his was already in... I finally decided to give it a check anyways and realized it was empty =p |
