we were saying its dirt cheap, not expensive... $125 for 55 gal
I paid $50 for my 5 gal... lol

That's how much it is at the closest place here..... $50 for 5 gal.

How much does everyone go through a week?

Now that I have the ice tires on for wenter, a gal will last me two weeks. Before that I went throught two gal a week or more.

Drums(53gal) are $407 here and 5gal pails are $28 for non VP and $41 for VP M1

I'm gonna try the non VP stuff..

I used Sunoco and some "industrial" brands before without issue. As long as it's pure it should be fine.

HbSean, pm me where your getting yours.

I'm noticing occasionally, especially when the engine is cold, that under mild throttle the meth spray will come on at only a few psi of boost and initially spike to full flow on the gauge before falling back to a lower flow level. The spike seems to be followed by a slight bog in the power. Right now I have the 0.6mm jet installed and no restrictor. Threshold is about 1:00 and gain is about 12:00. Should I try a restrictor? Has anyone tried using the MAP control mode instead of IDC on their R56?

I would stay out of boost until your engine is warm.
My car did what you are describing one time. It kinda freaked me out. I don't know why the IDC was high.

The kit has 0.5, 0.7, and 0.9mm restrictors listed as 380cc/min, 680cc/min, and 1080cc/min. I measured 300cc/min at 100% flow with the 0.7mm jet and no restrictor. Seems like the 0.5mm restrictor should be fine so that's what I installed.

I did a flow test with the 0.5mm restrictor and various nozzles.
0.6mm nozzle flowed 250cc/min
0.7mm nozzle flowed 300cc/min
0.8mm nozzle flowed 350cc/min

The 0.5 mm restrictor didn't cut the flow noticeably but on a brief drive it did seem to cut down on the initial surge I mentioned. It also kept the flow reading from maxing out the scale on the gauge. I'm pleased with the change.
