Sil, anything between p0001-p0009 seems to be fuel pump related. In all honesty yes I think it's fuel pump related, as it makes sense that it does it when cold, and after pumping for a few seconds it normalizes. Plus seeing that it's a known problem, I wouldn't be surprised.

He says it does, but its limited.

Dash Command is way better..... it gets frequent application updates and data logs much more info. It also logs PIDs.

Hahaha Yeah I know. And at $3.25 / gal for meth, it's really hard to not accept the dark side.

So I scanned for pending codes and there weren't any.

Silhouette- when did your stumbling problem start?

RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - silhouette88 - 12-03-2011 06:43 PM

It's hard to remember, I don't think I documented the date. But it was well before the Aquamist was installed. It was probably the end of 2010 / beginning of 2011. It happens so infrequently that I've gotten used to it, for better or worse. I'm thinking of taking it into an independent shop to get their opinion, probably when I get my downpipe installed. I wish the car would just throw a code already.

I had the cold start stumbling intermittently about 2 years ago. Went away after the HPFP was replaced under warranty. I never got any codes before I took it in and complained. The HPFP is covered for 10 years because of all the issues they have had. I'm not sure if the replacement is upgraded or just the same as the original.

The only issue I have like this is a "balking" or hesitation if the car is not completely warmed up and I get on the gas. It's very infrequent. I am wondering if that's what it is? Honestly, I just try and wait until it's warmed up before romping on it and I don't have the problem.
Ah, another R56 issue Dodgy
