RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - silhouette88 - 01-11-2012 09:58 PM I swung by the old meth lab today so Jeff could take a look at this pump shutdown problem. The fix was simple (for him, I'm a 'tard when it comes to electrical stuff). Jeff ran the controller power supply wire directly off the ECU instead of the original tap-a-circuit fusebox location (Start/Stop). The buzzing noise the pump used to make went away once that was moved. It felt kind of weird at first, because for the past six months I've always expected to hear that noise after I shut down. But I've gotten used to the "weird silence", lol. I'm sure Jeff will chime in re: more details when he has time. I was too busy yapping away and forgot to pay attention, but when he ran the test wire (before routing it neatly) it literally took 2 min. Oh, and I picked up a .8 jet while I was there since I've already succumbed to the dark side. Thanks again Jeff, you rock! RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - ColinGreene - 01-11-2012 10:00 PM I wonder if i have done this on installs. And if need to remedy this because it could be a problem RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - Speedracer1600 - 01-11-2012 11:43 PM So um, HFS-2 Group Buy? The Gauge and adjust-ability is cool but I'm more of a set it and forget it or rather set it and drive the shit out of it kind of guy.... RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - Howerton Engineering - 01-12-2012 09:36 AM The fix was to move the main power tap from the add-a-circuit to the blue ECU positap in the engine bay so both power sources are ON/OFF at the same time. The wiring schematic shows the kit powered this way on the last page of the 56 install manual. What is occurring does not appear to be harming anything, more of an annoyance. We've used this method numerous times in the past, as the ECU power usually drops power with the fuse panel that appears to be feeding it. Unfortunately this is not the case with the 56. RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - curv872 - 01-12-2012 10:17 AM I went with the HFS-2 (probably the only one haha)...set and forget like you said. RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - Speedracer1600 - 01-12-2012 10:56 AM I like it!!! looks like its suppose to be there! RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB - BostonR56S - 01-28-2012 06:15 PM Yay finally mounted. Haha Side note, did we ever have a resolution for the overrun of the wm? I'm noticing sometimes now after letting off and the wm was spraying, it will reduce to one bar flow, and stay there for anywhere as long as 8 seconds now. It used to do it maybe 1 or 2 sec max, never this long. Should I be concerned?
