This thread needs to be locked. Seriously.

what else would you expect from Jan? it doesn't seem applicable to compare your other experience with anything from RMW.

Just saying, it's almost a prototype, and has never been used on a MINI before. Who knows, it might not live up to our hopes and dreams... Anything could happen at this point, thats what testing is for.

I'm not doubting Jan, EATON, or anybody doing any subcontracted fabrication, or anybody else associated with the project or their abilities, but sometimes a great plan on paper turns out to be a desaster in reality.

It looks like in a month we will all know a lot more.

My money is on Eaton being a great product, but as with the Sprintex, if Jan finds it to be junk whilst in testing he won't sell it period. It's only limitations will be it's size.

Even after having very high hopes and investing a lot of money and time, when the Sprintex turned out to be crap, he didn't sell it, he tried to tell everyone that it was not a well designed piece. Some didn't listen and got burnt by other sellers.

So in the end we will have Eatons great reputation and Jan's to put our money on! Cool
