Very tempting...but i'll manage with my non combustible solution.
Maybe i'm overly cautious, but I just worry about having a combustible fuel in the car that burns transparent. 2006 MCS Space Blue Checkmate |

And trust me, even if it did catch fire, you would certainly know it even though the flame is "transparent." Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB
Going to see Jan for a tune on Friday. I'm anxious to see what he can do with my car. It's been running really well with the meth injection.

Not really I guess, especially since the autoignition temp is much higher than gasoline (725f meth, 495f gas). For reducing inlet temperatures, nothing is better than 100% meth, however, water vaporization is better at reducing in cylinder temps (rad fan never came on all day). Pouring 100% meth sure would be easier, mixing is a PITA. I also wonder how much faster the tank would be depleted especially since meth likes a bigger injector? During my last event I went through the 50/50 tank running a .6 inj (about 10-12 runs just over a mile each)? 2006 MCS Space Blue Checkmate |

The difference in how long the tank lasts between a .6 jet and .8 jet is pretty drastic. Running the .8 jet I was out in no time. The .6 would last for days. The R53 doesn't need the in-cylinder cooling as much as the 56 does. It just mainly suffers from sky high inlet temps, so running more meth is definitely adviseable. 2006 MINI Cooper S JCW GP (R53)--GP #1599 -RMW FUNstick Cam, RMW Shorty Header, RMW 450cc inj 2014 MINI Cooper (F56)--Midnight Black |

Meth also cools in cylinder, just not as much as water. If you get too much water, it evaporates in the combustion chamber and removes so much of the heat, that it can actually unspool your turbo and bog the motor. 50/50 is good for safety and the cleaning effect of water, but 100% Meth will give you more HP. 2010 MCS - RMW Tune, JCW Stage 1 CAI, Helix FMIC, Akropovic High Flow DP, JCW Mid Pipe, JCW Stage 1 Muffler, 17x7 O.Z.
