Well found a new toy. I might have to trade this with the turbo'd ruckus I wanted to build.

this makes a perfect seal of the intercooler to the hood. It's amazing how cool the intercooler is compared to a roots or twinscrew with the same amount of intercooler and boost

Just what I needed to know.....I will prepare the foam Smile

Mark,
you might want to PM Longboard as he can tell you the type of foam to use. I just take the car over to his house and we "foam" them up
It really handles the engine bay heat well

Little system my ass.
this thing is bonkers. before i get to the part where i explain the sensation of riding in the car ill tell you about what we did first.
Jan and I swung by to inspect the detailing job Longboard was doing on his inner fender. He also added dynamat. Put your boat anchor comments here.
Really what we came to do was to Iron out some tune quibbles. checking out a flatspot after a few changes.
Anyway I drove behind Bryan in my car and as he and Jan took off up the street.
I was simply amazed by how this thing flat out moves out.
Its retarded. No mini should look like that. Its almost like a sport bike.
Boat Anchor my ass.
The beauty of the Rotrex is as the Rpm rises so dose the torque and horsepower
it shows.
Now i actually got a ride, It gets better.
Lets put it this way. Its retard fast. the Donkeez mobile is probably the ultimate mini street car. It rides well is pretty quiet on the road and looks fantastic
but nothing really prepares you for just how hard it pulls. It might even be wife approved.
Blower whine is really a thing of the past. Ive been lucky enough to be around Rotrex cars for a while I don't miss the blower whine. it just sounds awesome with this set up. When i rode in this I pretty much laughed comically the entire time.
its just mind-bendingly fast. it never ever stops pulling. The meth kit also was a huge contributer to this it was probably about 76 degrees out during a full power pull the intake air temps were only 44 degrees, Freaken crazy if you ask me.
No mini should be this fast.
it makes my car feel hopelessly inadequate. and i have 271 hp!
I hate to sound like marketing shill but really if your thinking about this kit.
Just do it. It really is amazing and worth it.
Just ask Bryan about his fuel mileage.... Smile
Thanks for the ride, Ya jerk. Now i need to go spend some more money.

FWIW....I rode in Bryan's car back when it was still a 1.6, on the night that it "only" made 330whp.

I described it on the Rotrex thread on NAM eons ago...but Colin's description is pretty spot on! I too couldn't do anything but scream and laugh the whole time. Big Grin

I have no doubt it would easily destroy most supercars...the Rotrex kit is a thing of beauty.
