I am doing this for my own car to test. It's more of a safety adding step for the unexpected ......... I do not have a pulley made for air conditioning either so it's more for the track cars You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity "Tuning Matters" minimark Wrote: ....as silent as a freshly fallen snow on a crisp winter morning, a deafening hush falls across the land of Kool-Aid..... |

Jan I'm removing my air con, can I just use a shorter belt or do I need an idler replacement for it?

RE: RMW 30-94 Rotrex kit (front mount)
will need to make some form of a/c delete pulley if you are running the TMIC
these were made for FMIC cars You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity "Tuning Matters" minimark Wrote: ....as silent as a freshly fallen snow on a crisp winter morning, a deafening hush falls across the land of Kool-Aid..... |

Reason I'm removing AC is for fmic version, can I just remove the AC altogether and run a smaller belt? (Don't think I'll go for the 8rib belt)

(Don't think I'll go for the 8rib belt) for the fmic crowd there will be a bracket to move the alternator lower to sit where the a/c was, extra idler pulley's will be sent with it You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity "Tuning Matters" minimark Wrote: ....as silent as a freshly fallen snow on a crisp winter morning, a deafening hush falls across the land of Kool-Aid..... |

Finally a way to get rid of the plastic AC delete pulley.
I love the little extra weight off the front of the car with the AC delete but plastic pullies = a BAD idea! Here's why. (Currently hanging on my wall of misfortune.) Easily agitated, Half way retarded, and mentally unstable... Cant put up with it? SUCK MY RICHARD!! |
