Some cars now like Astons etc have a small fuel injector in the exhaust to make the gear change sound better, would imagine it is unburnt fuel - you can see it flame sometimes too.

Would imagine the proper old Noble like the M12, those things were RAW... before Dyson bought them over and brought sense to them

Jan / Colin,
I know from previously tuning an engine with standalone that dyno tuning with a Wideband is easy. However for a daily driven car with all the multiple throttle points / boost values over driving in traffic, one would need a wideband to tweak the values on the run as the narrowband sensors are useless in maintaining anything other than stoich. Can the Vipec be interfaced with the AEM wideband I have in my car now to make road tuning it easier? Mendra I swear some people on this forum are too dumb to own a MINI. |
