btw Chris........did you get the suspension ironed out yet?

Steering rack is being replaced today. Keeping my fingers crossed...Got so many more things I'd like to get done on the car before spring, but this is pretty much top priority.

RE: Vibratechnics group buy.
Has anyone installed their mounts yet?

I'm trying to figure out the best way to approach the upper mount. It looks like the bolt that goes through the frame doesn't come out of the mount, can you thread it through the frame hole without lifting the motor way way up? Or is it the same situation with the OEM one that is coming out?

RE: Vibratechnics group buy.
Mine is installed, but it was easy with the engine being out. I'd imagine you would need to life up the OEM engine quite a bit to get the mount in.

RE: Vibratechnics group buy.
Take the motor mount completely out, via the four bolts and the grounding strap and drop it in.
then drop the mount back onto the post thread all the bolts and go from there.
its pretty easy.

Thanks Colin!

Hopefully I can get it in tomorrow and can report back some first impressions.

RE: Vibratechnics group buy.
Mounts are in!

Some additional vibration in the cabin at idle. Not much at cruising speed on the freeway.
Engine feels like it's bolted to the car. No more wobbly engine.

I'll try to report back once I get some miles on them.

Thanks Colin for organizing this group buy.

Ahhh, I guess I can expect the same. It must be less vibration than the TSW mount though.

RE: Vibratechnics group buy.
It doesn't seem too harsh or anything. It's noticeable thats all. The mounts may soften up a little once they settle in a bit, or we'll just get used to the vibration and not notice anymore.
