I modified the mount itself and just hit it with black rattle can after.
I removed 11/16" from the side plate. I alerted Vibratechnics of this, they said that they have not seen this bracket before, but they would modify thier mount to allow the bracket to fit for the future. Kinda weird they have never seen it.
