RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB
its just alcohol. you guys make it out like its nuclear waste.
Its less explosive than gasoline. Seriously its not that bad. Mines in my garage, under my Sea-doo thats full of 15 gallons of very flammable gas. next to my 1966 Corvette that is plastic and flammable and also full of 20 gallons of gas. So far, I've managed to keep everything not on fire. “Have you ever noticed how some people never

Anyone ever had the pump stay on after you turn off the car? Mine just did, I thought it was the aux pump for the turbo but was the aqua pump... I had to turn the car on and off again to stop it.
Should I be worried? |

I'd contact Jeff if you're saying it was spraying continuously while the car was off. Have you already double-checked all your wiring? The gauge had no lights on. I could hear what sounded like the tank expanding... I checked the fuse panel and battery but did not check the taps at the ecu harness. I will in a bit

Yeah thats a artifact of the old wiring diagram, it has to do with where your power is tapped in, its harmless.
I know Jeff re established where i think the add a fuse went. “Have you ever noticed how some people never

Colin, I think he's talking about something else.
That problem you mentioned was a momentary burst from the pump after shut down. I think what the OP is mentioning is continuous running after shut down, which could be dangerous. |

Yeah this was not the short burst that usually happens. I am not sure if it was allowing the w/m to be sprayed or not, but I am thinking I should check the IC boot to see..

RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB
I check the IC and did not notice any w/m also checked the taps and grounds, but all were good. I started it up and drove around and tested the system and its spraying the same amount when I installed.
My guess is that the power source stay on for longer for some reason.. ( ಠ_ಠ ) |
