Perhaps improper grounding. It's going to take a while, but check each and every wire methodically.

Doesn't sound like a controller issue. Does it happen every time you shut down? If not, what are there any conditions that it occurs under?

Sounds like the relay for the pump could have gotten stuck.

Could it be the fuse you tapped for power? Just thinking if it was a fan and the fan was told to stay on, the switched power would still be there even with the key off. All I can think of is the fan though.

9 out of the 10 voices in my head are telling me to "Floor it!"

Possibly a bad flux capacitor. Or have you tried shouting ohm's law at it? That works every time.

RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB
well, its gotten worse...

So on the way home tonight I noticed when getting on the freeway that the gauge was not showing any bars and the water level and w/m led were on. When I got home and checked it was on 1/4, so I filled it up anyway and took it for a drive and still was not able to get it to spray. The pump starts but turns off right away I've checked the rely and ground/power for the pump, and both are good.
I guess tomorrow I will be checking and rechecking connections..

I may pour gas in the lawnmower while smoking, but I don't mess with the meth. Just be sure the cap is on, and no open flames, or like me, even glowing embers.

Yeah, I knew the guy.. not personally, but he was on the regional audi forum i'm on.

Are you having weather like we are in the northeast... cold in the AM, with the sun warming things up in the afternoon?

Could be condensation inside the relay, which would bridge the gap thats normally controlled by the relay. I only say this because this happened to my relay once that I was using for my auto-on sport button. I had it resting up against the body of the car, so it felt more extreme temps changes, and some condensation built up inside the relay housing and the caused the auto-on to not function until I dried it up.

Also go and buy a new relay, that very well could be it.

Relays are pretty cheap, can't hurt.

Well, it did it another time, this time the B was flashing, and I didn't notice the S on odd thing was I upshifted and tired again, and it worked fine.

I'm starting to think its the FAV because I could hear the pump running, but no bars came on.

I did do a test of the system for blockage and it performed think the day I installed.
