It detects the E content of fuel. So if you are running E85 it will detect E85 or if the pump says E85 but its really E70 or E60 it will tell you.

The upside of this is that you can wire it into your ViPEC. So it will automaticlly pull timing or add fuel, so you dont have the risk of running E85 timing on E60 fuel....Thats BAD.
