New rocker arms and springs would be needed too - including on the jesus head?

The only thing better would be pneumatically operated valves Big Grin
Your build should be awesome Shanne Wink

VTEC wasnt made for RPM. It was made to have fuel economy with high hp at the same time.

Most will not even need to rev past 8k. There is no reason unless you have a BIG rotrex or a BIG turbo. RPM is a motor killer.

Just reving that high to say that you can rev that high is pointless.

If you want to have something that rev's high buy a 600cc motorcycle. You will quickly find out that high RPM means NO lower end at all.

Point was that Honda boys brag N/A at 9K rpm and just bounce them off the limiters constantly. According to them that + vtec in their eyes makes them better than anything. I have had people here tell me that Vtec > any boosted car...

Just 9k rpm + C38 = silly power Big Grin

More of a way to just stick two fingers up to them - doesn't mean i'll drive round bouncing it off 10K - change gear where it will dump it back in the torque band, not to prove a point.

RE: C38...........is it possible?
My point exactly - sticking two fingers up to them, our cars can then rev higher, weight more, don't look like buckets and STILL fuck them up.

There are at least two tuners (knowing their business - not any guy with a OBD wire) who would disagree with that Wink there was a little hype here with those machines and rotrex kits years ago. One of the shops arranged the shredded engines on his parking lots to remind himself: never again Smile

RE: C38...........is it possible?
^ WUT.
and you cant bounce a rotrex off the Honda style rev limiter you will in fact break it.
and who cares what Honda guys thing.
As long as you blow their doors off they wont care what RPM that you did it at anyway. its not like the strokers sound like they are revving really anyway.
I think the pass in blakes video was 8200, Didn't sound like it did it?
also like shanne said the higher you rev it the more you invite engine wear
and for the normal guy who's not used to this or gets excited you invite missed shifts and mechanical over rev so thats just bad.

RE: C38...........is it possible?
I love how its called a honda style rev limiter lol. Its just a hard fuel cut instead of spark cut. It doesn't randomly cut fuel from cyl. It just cuts fuel. This makes it a hard limiter. When I do standalones, I do soft cuts with random spark cut.
