MINI trailers
A friend once told me that the thing that most improved his lap times at a track event was his trailer..... knowing that he didn't have to keep the car in one piece to drive it home let him hang it all out.
I tried fitting my GP onto a conventional car hauler trailer and it just didn't fit. The front end hit the ramps. The trailer was too long and heavy, etc. So I designed and built my own little 12.5 ft. hydraulic tilt bed trailer with long telescoping ramps so that even a lowered MINI can drive right on up. I put 13" wheels and tires with low fenders so that the doors of the car could open easily when on the trailer, and built storage under the deck for straps, jacks, and even the spare tire. Since then I've built 4 or 5 more for fellow MINI owners and in fact, the last time we went to the Bonneville Salt Falts every trailer I built was in the caravan there. I just thought you guys might like to see them in case you're thinking about hauling your MINI, either behind a motorhome or your pickup truck or car. They cost close to $6,000 with their own battery, hydraulic unit, straps, a spare, and hydraulic surge brakes so that any vehicle with a 2" ball can pull them.... Wolfman Dan GP#0936 with lots of mods and GP#1827 with none ..

RE: MINI trailers
Dan already made one that will haul an STI so it shouldn't be hard to make it for the EVO

RE: MINI trailers
for Shanne just so he can see it along with the rest of us
here is a STI being loaded onto the trailer. For mini thunder 2011 Dan had us use his truck and trailer to drag Jans car to Mini Thunder Jan and i both thought the trailer towed quite well. Most of the time i did not even know it was back there. Could have been dans truck. but i figure it was mostly the trailer. I cant tell you how nice it was to just be able to drive the car on without doing anything special risky or dangerous. “Have you ever noticed how some people never
