RE: TVS900 Basics
all this discussion of which is better.......it's all good! I'm interested in the TVS because my car is mostly a daily driver that occasionally sees the track. If I was building a track car I would definitely want the Rotrex!Big Grin

I agree with every word you just said.

Colin, one OEM DOES use the Rotrex! I'm gonna butcher the name but, Koenssegg has twin Rotrexes on some of their cars. Granted, they are way out of our price range.Tongue

Oh and if youre bothered by a little wheelspin, maby get some more shoe time and learn to controll your foot better.Big Grin

Turbo conversion
Sprintex
TVS
Rotrex
I can tell you straight out there is nothing faster around a race track than the rotrex

If they did its likely you would have herd of them before Longboards car....
the rotrex will be faster. you are at higher rpm all the time when accelerating.
also the tvs could mean wheel spin. but thats meh with a good ecu.

Rotrex superchargers are very well known to me, i hope this doesn't disassapoint you, long ago Longboards car. I am coming from the bmw world before the mini, where there are a lot of rotrex supercharger kits for them.
The reason the OEMs are not using them is ofcourse not what you mentioned, it's that they are only good at high rpms, and that they are a belt driven turbo, where as the turbo is much more efficient that a Rotrex and offers a much wider power band.

over 5sec behind with NO traffic...........yep Nick...... its sooooooooooooo much faster

this argument is about How to put down big power in a Mini........
Unless you have tested them like I have, I'm not entertaining any fucking bench racing...........
