RE: TVS900 Basics
It will be awhile. Jan test everything a SHIT TON before its released into production, and he still has to fab it up. Just baby your charger. It will be worth it.

My biggest fear is the water pump going, i can careless if it stops makeing boost and being efficent. I guess i wil ljsut take it easy im still geting 14-15lbs of boost but i think the temps are high the car feels like it gets sluggish and doesnt have that wow factor it used to. |

Do you have an accurate way to watch your water temps and IAT? If not, get a Scangauge pronto. |

RE: TVS900 Basics
14-15lbs sounds completely reasonable... No sound of a dying S/C there?

No the water temp hasnt budged so the pump is working, as for the intercooler temps. The scangauge will show that???? Whats considered exceptable, or in normal opperateing range. No sound of a dying S/C there? 14-15 is fine but, it sounds really funny when its not in boost, when its in boost its obviously to loud to hear the other noise, at idle it has the chatter sound to and it comes and gos. Maybe im just looking for a reason to add more power??? My mechanic recently changed a dieing charger on an 04 with less miles and it sounded the same way. Like a power steering pump, with chatter at idle... I hope i could hold out as long for the TVS and then i hope its not redicliously price compared to a new JCW charger. But with jans hope to be i direct replacement i cant see it being to much more. |
