A/C is already gone... Need to talk to you about the narrow dual pass radiator for the Rotrex FM kits anyhow, plus going to have ViPEC.... wouldn't mind having a 1320 shoehorned in there at all!

Perhaps we should talk about this later? Big Grin

RE: TVS900 Basics
Thats pushing it...

Jan ran the 1320 for a magazine shootout a few years ago. Its been a while but I think I read something like 330 HP? But the head lifted before the road course. Sad even the mag writers said in the article it would have taken the event.

After that all the focus switched to the Rotrex.

The L19 studs sitting here in the box next to me say the head wont lift... Smile

I'll condense a very long story here.
I had Valley Engine doing the sleeving on the blocks at the time. The sleeves were already dropping on the dyno as the hp was down about 30hp already. By the time we drove it to the track and did the 1/4mi it was misfiring and boiling the coolant over. We had to launch in 2nd gear because all we got was wheelspin. Had to run conti street tires. I think the best 60ft time was 2.3-2.6sec...lol
Could not hook it up. Didn't help it was ON THE RACE track at Buttonwillow not even on a real drag race track to get any sort of traction. The car spun through 3rd gear on those tires.
We won the dyno/1/4mi and was heading for the final of road. Ian had never run the track so he was trying to learn the track and go fast at the same time. We knew we had problems with the engine and we didn't have any radios to call him in. By the time we got him flagged down to come in to check the water it let go. Sleeves fully dropped and that was it. Cost us the overall in FWD. We were on pace to beat all but a couple of the cars there.

All the more reason to try the 1320 again... Smile

Just don't get the block sleeved at Valley.

the problem is the 1320TVS is HUGE..........and no room for it. So there is so much modifications to the car that the price goes through the roof.

Don't worry we have a machine shop that has perfected sleeving in a MiniWink
