RE: TVS Final Prototypes
lol........don't sweat it
I can't make kits for everyone. There will be a couple versions of the kit and the rest who want something different will have to fab it up yourself.. It's just too expensive for me to make all of these kits You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity "Tuning Matters" minimark Wrote: ....as silent as a freshly fallen snow on a crisp winter morning, a deafening hush falls across the land of Kool-Aid..... |

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
Thanks Jan
I wasn't asking anyone to fab up a FMIC kit I was just looking at what it would take to do it. Going with the outlet on the top leaves little room for pumping to the front. Outlet on the bottom would allow me to do run to a FMIC much more easily. My plan was to do it myself, but since I live 2000mi away it's difficult to see the unit in person. Cheers |

TVS Final Prototypes
Your best bet would be to get the narrow dual pass radiator for the Rotrex kits. The piping would go relatively easy around the rad to whatever core you use. BELL INTERCOOLERS will make any configuration of I/C you want, but they can be pricy.
Yeah, Im already planning this out. Sent from 2 cans and a string... Easily agitated, Half way retarded, and mentally unstable... Cant put up with it? SUCK MY RICHARD!! |

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
That was the plan--there are a lot of intercoolers that will work but not sure about quality/pressure drop of some brands??? an up graded R56 intercooler might even work well?

TVS Final Prototypes
I would rather do a custom, that way the end tanks can feed in a better location.
What I am planning keeps the I/C core on the smaller side, so it wont cause as much of a loss in pressure. Then meth will take care of the rest. Sent from 2 cans and a string... Easily agitated, Half way retarded, and mentally unstable... Cant put up with it? SUCK MY RICHARD!! |

If you're worried about cooling, just get a W2A and call it a day?

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
The way i see it is if you want a front mount intercooler because you want to track the car that bad.
just buy a rotrex. The pressure loss and packaging problems with the TVS just make it not worth it. Take it from me, ive worked on all of these cars extensively, from front mount rotrex kits to poking with the new TVS kit a little bit. If you want to run a TVS and track it just get a water to air or run meth. “Have you ever noticed how some people never
