Need 1 x Black 6UL 15x8
I found three of them and Phil's Tire Service (east coast distributor) states:
"Unfortunately we have been told there will be none for 2014." (which is weird because Colin said "Emilio told me that they would have 15x8 in when february rolled around." and "he has them he just won't sell them. I'm really annoyed to be honest.") So I'm stuck with my new-to-me MINI w/ 16in OEM rims and snow tires. Does anyone have a nice condition 15x8 949Racing 6UL in Black for sale? Colin, I'd pay you handsomely to go shake down Emilio! Phil's Tire Service states they have two new 15x8 offerings (15x8 4x100 et 30, advertised 12lbs) coming in March.... They also state they will fit Good Win Racing's BBK: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Per...10915.html Here are the two wheels... Advanti Racing Storm S1: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Per...-1386.html Konig Dial In: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Per...-1394.html Additional Info (Konig has more clearance): http://www.miataturbo.net/good-win-racin...els-75957/ The 15x8s from 949Racing are 12.9lbs: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Per...-1391.html If I have the Brakeman Kit, hoping it's low profile caliper works its magic and fits that 12.2in rotor in the same space as the Good Win Racing 11in rotor BBK The center bore does not match so I'd need some custom parts. Can anyone guess the spacers I'd need with a 30 offset? 2007 MCS....and no I won't buy an R53, shut up already and drive what you like. |

RE: Need 1 x Black 6UL 15x8
use willtheyfit.com
to figure it out. And as for the center bore hub-centric adapter rings are offered. I run them on my K1s, I got those from amazon for 7 dollars the ones i run on my bmw my Uncle Richard made from some T6 bar stock he had hanging around. I can call Emilio and find out WTF is up with the wheel situation as I need a pair right now. Wont be around till Monday though. he gets severely annoyed if you show up at the shop though. RE: Need 1 x Black 6UL 15x8
Are there forum members who have fitted 6ULs on their R56s in 15x8? @Colin, thx for the website, looks like the 30 offset would be more preferable as folks generally add spacers (from what I've seen on R53s). Other than clearing the suspension and not extending out past the fenders, are there other things to consider?

RE: Need 1 x Black 6UL 15x8
Yes, see my thread, I ran 15x9 in the front and 15x8 in the rear, if you did that your problems would be solved.
It handled better that way. what tires can you get is always a consideration. “Have you ever noticed how some people never

RE: Need 1 x Black 6UL 15x8
I think a 15x9 front would put me out of reach of any Max Performance Summer tires from looking at tirerack. I realize 15x9s up front seem to be the best, but this car will be street driven mostly and I'd like the ability to rotate tires. I still figure I'm head of the game compared to most Minis with 15x8s all around.
From a certain banned member in Colin's R53 thread: 15x9 et36 fitment in the rear requires 16mm, fitment in the front requires 12mm. 15x8 et36 fitment in the rear requires 5mm, nothing is needed in the front. But that is for the R53. I need to research how similar the R56 is. Either way, the offset of these new wheels with +30 seems beneficial. Thx. 2007 MCS....and no I won't buy an R53, shut up already and drive what you like. |

Eh, shit happens, but seems like he knew/researched a thing or two. If you know of any RMW R56 guys running 15x8s, let me know. I'll keep searching.
