Honestly, I did not know that NC required emissions checks. You can opt to live in one of the neighboring states. South Carolina does not require vehicle inspections at all. Tennessee requires emissions inspections in only six counties, which does not include Maryville (in Blount County), which would force you to drive the Dragon to work every day. Smile Georgia has similar requirements for only 13 counties.

Originally I wanted to stay on the TN side, but I would rather not have to drive the Dragon every day to go to work. Either way the R53 probably wont be trailered down for a few months after I get there.

Generally speaking... people in NC do NOT get around their inspection. It's a pain in the rump. Not all counties require emissions inspection - Graham does NOT.

My understanding is they do a safety inspection only in those other counties. But I've never lived in one. Call someone in Graham county and ask them.

Jan, any update? Been following this on Facebook and looks like you got it close to fully fabbed up? Just gotta start producing the horn to the intercooler? Rough estimate to pricing? Appreciate you work on this!

no pricing yet, we are getting much closer though as I got quotes for the idler bracket today. (CNC'd piece now) We are fabbing up the inlet pipe now. Once I get that I should have final pricing. The rest of the parts are made or the drawings done to CNC.
