RE: TVS Final Prototypes
New Water pump for the radiator correct? With the FMIC and dual pass radiator, running E85, should run nice and cool.

The FMIC is serious porn...

Tell the asshole who owns that car to keep his radiator fins clean.

He said it, FMIC is SERIOUS PORN!!!!! I wish!

While on that. Why doesn't someone make a FMIC for the standard Supercharger set up but without the standard horns and stuff, hence extending the path for no reason other than simplicity?

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
It could probably be done, but extending the path is going to cost you some boost, the TVS theoretically at least pushes enough air to compensate for it (even so it's going to lose a little with the longer pathway), the stock blower can't, so although you'd run cooler, my guess is you'd have a noticeable drop in power. Makes more sense to run meth with the stock top mounted IC.

So what does everyone use to clean fins without destroying them? Tooth brush? Figure I pull the front every now and then, we get tons of bugs here...

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
Vacuum first with a soft bush to get the loose stuff. I use a small pick to get the big chunks with the vacuum. Then rise with a pressure washer, bit not too close, and only spry directly at the fins.

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
Thanks, I'll get a comb and do the vacuum/pressure wash thing, I'm guessing I'll be killing lots of insects with both...

Paint it. I used Eastwood radiator black and I also polished the aluminum around the edges. I use it on the intercooler too. I have done it for years and never had a cooling problem and I live in the California desert.
