I'll take the spare, as long as it fits the GP bumper if you can install it great, if not I'll do it here. Kit has its own splitter correct? Hate to lose yours, it's been such an improvement, but I'll sell it if I have to.

Bedtime now, I have to go sleep before you post up some more cool shit.

RE: RMW Widebody Group Buy Pricing!
What is the wheel setup (offset etc) for the kit...assume 15x9? Spacers required?
I don't think 17" will work since they already rub on the rear bodywork/metal...will there be room to trim the quarter?
How much more HP will I need to overcome the added aero drag??? :}

RE: RMW Widebody Group Buy Pricing!
You can fit wide 17's in there...

It's getting rid of drag--if you've seen 15x9s with spacers and how far they stick out, it makes sense what this is going to do, especially how the splitter goes out to th lower part of the arch and the air can flow smoothly over the top of the wheel instead of hitting it directly at a right angle. The car should have less drag, not more, and the drag it now has will be translated into downforce rather than wind sail and lift.

If you switch to 15x9, and add the kit, from a handling standpoint, with the splitter and smooth airflow past the sides of the car, the car is going to stick at high speeds like night and day. Only thing you need to add is under panels to smooth out underneath, with those side skirts this is really going to be fun...

Just putting Jan's splitter on made a HUGE difference, this is why I'm salivating so much...

RE: RMW Widebody Group Buy Pricing!
Don't think 17' will fit since I already needed to trim the rear quarters to have them fit without rubbing (and the tires just barely fit in the wheel wheel) on compression of the rear suspension (the car is lowered)..suspect even more trimming will be needed, even with 15" (2" smaller diameter tire) 225/15 23"dia vs225/17 25" dia...but 1" extra clearance to the quarter may be enough.

Guess you missed the evil grin regarding the HP thing....although the frontal area will increase slightly and reduce top speed on the long straights...so again..more HP WILL BE NEEDED...any excuse!!!

I feel like it's one of those things you buy when going full retard.

RE: RMW Widebody Group Buy Pricing!
Big question for me is, when would it all be complete? Perfectly fine with the 50% down, just going back to school soon so I won't have as much $$ flow. Need to plan accordingly

RE: RMW Widebody Group Buy Pricing!
the sooner you order the faster you get it. Already have 3 on board. By the time you get yours we will know how many total. Should take about 3 weeks to get yours done as the other 2 were ordered long time ago. So send half the $1800 for now and when it's time to ship I will deduct from that to cover shipping

it's possible you have your suspension too low
we found with the Rolex Cayman, that even though it was 8mph down in the straights at Daytona that the aero on the infield had the car 1.8sec faster than the higher speed 911 with same hp.
