RE: TVS Final Prototypes
So the "base kit" is a top mounted version i'm assuming as yours will be a FMIC version since it's losing the A/C. Yeah I was confused with all the HARROP talk and what not, i remember reading something posted on facebook and a magazine about it. So i was just curious when i saw that post on here, i rather ask than assume something.

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
it's an alternative for those that want something better than stock but not something that's race ready

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
I think what most just people want is a replacement for the OEM Heaton M45 with a reliable, serviceable unit. If the TVS is that product if will sell like hotcakes.
If it provides a nice little boost in performance over an M45 with a 15% pulley that would be a bonus. Dave Great quote " if you are on this forum, high probability that you are already full retard for Mini's" -Jan |

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
Can't wait to see the numbers between the two.... well unless that's already been done. What are the key differences between the two besides keeping the a/c.

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
Hummmmm, TVS with A/C...Sounds tempting. Will the base kit require a built bottom end?

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
base kit will not need a bottom end
you are looking at about 70hp difference and a bunch of torque You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity "Tuning Matters" minimark Wrote: ....as silent as a freshly fallen snow on a crisp winter morning, a deafening hush falls across the land of Kool-Aid..... |

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
Agree with Dave.o -- the heaton45 and that damn plastic inlet tube must go. and my wife doesn't need to know about the bottom end. That will be "required" ;-)
