+1 Also, just wanted to echo BostonR56S's request of showing your settings once you feel comfortable with them. I think this thread will become an invaluable resource once we get critical mass.

I am wondering what water only will do. The way I understand it if setup right I won't loose any power on a hot day. But no gains without doing something like upping the compression ratio or some special time consuming tuning. Could be wrong about all of that though. To add to that it is cool here right now so I might not see any thing. But I can start on the steam cleaning of the valves and chamber.

A .6mm with 100% water may make you loose some power, but I can't be sure. Water slows the burn, so without timing changes, the burn is out the exhaust and EGT's go up. A smaller jet might work better, but we won't know until you try. Good luck.

I was thinking the same thing but was going to have it come on late and turn the gain all the way down.

Yeah, I know that tapping plastic will require no oil, as there is little to no heat that will be produced, at least relatively when compared to tapping aluminum/steel.

The oil would be an effect to group any chips together and hold it in clumps instead of having the smallest chips break off and going everywhere. Then having the shopvac underneath the hole to suck up the clumps that fall.

While the idea of turning the car on seems that it would work, wouldn't there be vacuum from the opposite side of the tube (closest to firewall), and nothing really "pushing" from the turbo side of the tube? I mean granted the turbo would be spinning from the exhaust gasses, I feel the car would near stall from the MAF sensor having way off readings of airflow..?

I'm worried about getting plastic chips into the tract, but planning on using a bit of oil and a shop vac in the hose underneath to help as much as possible to avoid it. I don't really want to remove the whole bumper to get that whole pipe out.

Got my system up and running today! The car does feel strong. I'm getting a p2883 wastegate valve signal code after a few seconds of full boost. It seems to be tied to the water level light coming on. I'm wondering if the level sensor is not adjusted properly. The tank is near full with 50/50 water/meth. I've got the 0.7mm jet installed and got about 290cc/min in doing a flow test.

water level light comes up when failsafe is tripped too. does it come on and then all other gauge leds turn off for a few seconds? not sure if that's your issue but when it was happening to me I swapped out the jet and it resolved the failsafe issue.

Do you have the failsafe hooked up? If so, you are tripping the failsafe.

This is why I did not want to set it up...I had a feeling it would cause more headaches than I already get with this car.
