Turning the gain up (past 12 o clock) will give you more up top. It steepens the slope of the spray curve. Regardless of where it is set it will always start spraying at a 1:1 injector ratio and then either increase or decrease in ratio depending on where you have it set.

If I were you I'd just run a .6 jet and up the threshold to come on later.
