Feeler Thread: Dry Carbon R53 Hood

This is a feeler thread for gauging interest on a group buy for the R53 Dry Carbon hood made by Harrison Japan. It weighs approximately 16 lbs. It is pre-pregnated carbon fiber utilizing a fiber glass skeleton.

This will be going for $1100 + shipping. If a group buy commences, I may be able to get the price down to $800 + shipping with 5 committed buyers.

These are not cheap carbon fiber hoods like Seibon and ViS which are simple carbon overlays over cheap quality fiberglass. These hoods are made from epoxy molds and vacuum packed in an autoclave to 10k psi.
