Other than the tune you have on the ECU, yes. There is a button on the face of the gauge which turns the system ON/OFF. On the 53 with stock ECU you would need to change your tune, on a standalone, it should switch automatically. On the 56, it depends if you have the wastegate tied in for safety, but you can configure the controller to be invisible at that point as well. The 56 to a certain degree will auto adjust the fueling, but excessive boost could be an issue.

I have a 2010 R56 with the 181hp 2011 engine That said, I don't think there has been a tune for the 2011 engine yet and I don't plan on getting a tune at this point anyways. The meth kit will be the first serious engine mod, I'll start building from that point on. The other stuff I have are all suspension based with just an intake and downpipe back exhaust.

So basically, the stock ECU should adjust to on/off status which would also mean it'd adjust conservatively to the colder IATs as well..?
