Look at alta's boost gauge install pdf... you can tap it to the illumination wire for the DSC/Sport button area. I believe its the illumination for the ring around the cig light which turns on when the lights do.

Well I can now say with certainty that wire will not work. It dims with the gauses an gives "unexpected results". As in when you dim the dash the Aquamist gauge gets brighter.

I need a wire that gets 12volts when the lights are turned on.
