We can put a CV in the line that is a push-pull and works well, but costs a bit more. There is a small baffle at the inlet of the vent so a lot of fluid should not get in the line normally. Does this happen right as you fill, or after driving? One more thought. Are you filling with a funnel that is sealing to the top neck of the tank? In may not seem like it does, but if it provides a light seal, it will create an air lock and the filling will just pour out the vent line. If we have a CV int he vent line, it would just back up into the funnel, but drop creating a big mess, been there before. "When everything works, it's a sheer joy to drive." - Jeremy Clarkson
