RE: TVS Final Prototypes
No smart ass replies from me......
With all of that boost (22+ psi) my car's running I'm as likely to knock the basement out of my original 70,000 mile stock lower end. I hope not. But it will sure speak volumes for the strength of the MINI motor if it holds up...... if not, then there's a stroker in my future....... Ahhh! The slippery slope steepens... Wolfman GP#0936 with lots of mods and GP#1827 with none ..

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
Nah you should be alright i figure.
Its not just the PSI its in the tune. Just make sure you keep oil in there! “Have you ever noticed how some people never
have the money to do it right, but can always find the money to do it twice ?” |

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
the stock pistons don't like more than 20psi so this will be a good test regardless
the top ring is too far up which makes that ring land weak You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity "Tuning Matters" minimark Wrote: ....as silent as a freshly fallen snow on a crisp winter morning, a deafening hush falls across the land of Kool-Aid..... |

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
sounds like you are tip toeing across the line, to see if it survives? If it does, are you going to push alittle more to find the breaking point?
Putting your phone away & paying attention to those talking to you? There's an App for that. It's called "RESPECT." |

RE: TVS Final Prototypes
Jan, could you explain please,
This new TVS has 22 lbs of boost. It is almost as much as rotrex. But it is 100 hp less. Why? Safer timing? |

TVS Final Prototypes
Yep, but the TVS will make more low end torque, because of the S/C design.
I'm a DICK! Dont like it? Skip this post! Easily agitated, Half way retarded, and mentally unstable... Cant put up with it? SUCK MY RICHARD!! |
