RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB
Jeff, I've installed the CV, and before I did I checked the hose after the car had sat for a few hours. The results are still the same while sitting, there are noticible gaps in the hose of air, aka where fluid had dripped out and replaces with air in the hose. I was kind of surprised to see the CV didn't actually stop it. The gaps with air are closer to the nozzle, not upwards of the hose, so I don't think there's a leak by the FAV. Any ideas?

What we want to see is if you get the the same effect in the exit of the IC as before. Also we need feedback on the possible stumble on startup.

Yup, that will be a longer run check, as I'm giving it time to build up (if it is) and its a pain getting to the exit in my apt parking lot. Will be at my rents for thanksgiving though, so I'll see if anything comes up then.

As for the stumble it still exists, but I have had something "similar" before wm install. SIL has the stumbling issue more. I will continue to monitor it though, since it is slightly different from before.

RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB
Well, I wish I could report good news but over the weekend I was doing a lot of driving, stopping for an hour, driving, etc. and the stumbling happened one morning. I'm not sure if temperature plays a part in this but it was in the upper 40's and my car was sitting for about an hour since I last drove it. I drove it gently to a market near where we were staying, it was about 1/2 mile away and I never triggered the meth to spray. I parked, shopped, and 5 minutes later got in and drove off. It stumbled right away in 1st, I let off the gas for a second then applied the gas and it was fine.

I'm really beginning to think that the Aquamist has nothing to do with this. Especially since I had this stumbling issue before the kit was installed.

I'm going to try disconnecting my battery to reset the adaptations and see if that has any effect. The stumbling definitely went away after the kit was installed so that is my next hunch.

P.S. Congrats on the downpipe Erik. You beat me at the last second. Grrrrrrrrrrrr! Tongue

haha, no worries. Yeah I was watching it that entire week too, it actually ended on my birthday so I thought the stars were aligned for me to get it. Oh well, at least I know it went to a good guy, and I won't have to bid against you next time. Tongue
