RE: RMW Remote Tune Module
Wont this need to be reset for further use? And is that not a 150 dollar cost?

I actual was not aware there was a cost to reset the unit. If that's the case, $125 shipped makes more sense if someone wants it.

the original file that came off the car MUST go back on for the tool to be "clear"
otherwise it will need to be reset at a cost

Are you certain that is all that is needed?

Just guessing, but I thought probably it works so that the original file must go back into the tool and go back on the car. Otherwise folks could leave the tune in the car. I figure that they want to prevent that and therefore sharing of the same tool.

If the stock tune is back on the car, then arguably, the former owner has no benefit from the tool and then no one can double dip.

You probably know better, but that is what I would imagine would work best for the tool maker and those that sell it.

Just a side note, NEVER wrap your cables like you have in that picture. Makes me cringe when people do that. Everytime you pull them tight like that and bend it over you are weakening and maybe even breaking the copper strands in the cable. You should unplug it wrap it in a figure eight motion and tight it with a wire tire or rubber band.
