Lol being that I tune Subies, and mostly EVO's I know the Subie is turbo. I was talking about HRM not having a turbo not the Subie. |

RE: Vipec pre-order signup!
Honestly since I've spent so much time overseas so much for work and only had a spare weekend here and there to work with her, it's taken forever and a half to get all the gremlins worked out so she was running like she should since the install was such a fiasco. I'm still pretty stinking irritated with the crap job Danny did when he put my car back together. . .AC didn't work, horns still don't work, fog lights didn't work, O2 sensor wire had a been crimped to some heat shielding which was causing some of our intermittent issues with tuning, there were number of spare parts in the back of the car that went AWOL, windows had been left open so the interior was full of grime and there was rainwater in the carpet and I'm still finding bolts he didn't tighten down. Oh well, live and learn. . .
The drive home from LA was amazing. . .highway 24 through Grand Capital Reef in Utah then through Colorado was pretty cool. As was a mid triple digit encounter with a jackrabbit that took out the front bumper, ac and radiator. Then had the OEM harmonic balancer come apart on me. But all comedy aside when she's been running like a champ (like she is now) it's been an absolute blast. I'm actually taking her out of storage in Kansas tomorrow and am road tripping it out to my new home in VA this weekend and am planning on enjoying her again on a regular basis. (Woohoo!) She's running pretty well but she could definitely use a retune, hopefully Jan will be around for a tuning party in the NE this spring and we can get the Vipec tuned in. And if those TVS rotors ever get finished up, I know there's a set with my name on them! (01-26-2012 08:51 PM)colingreene Wrote: hows your 2.0L Bo? |
