Yes, but only a little. DI cars are different. Also, what jet size and what settings are optimal can only be realised on a dyno, but a good baseline is to make the system flow 90-95% of its total capacity at redline. You might make more power flowing 80% at redline, who knows...

80% of what? What jet? Non modded to very modded R56 make diferent HP, have different heat proplems. I maybe slow but i don't understand why they would need the same settings.

I want. How do I get a tune like this?

2010 MCS - RMW Tune, JCW Stage 1 CAI, Helix FMIC, Akropovic High Flow DP, JCW Mid Pipe, JCW Stage 1 Muffler, 17x7 O.Z. Ultraleggera, JCW Sport Suspension, Aquamist hfs-3 kit

I didn't say it wouldn't need different settings, I'm saying that based on the IDC numbers that the R56 sees, and how quickly the injectors pulse, whether you have a MCS, JCW or tuned JCW, the gain setting won't change too much. The flow rate that the HFS achieves is dependent on boost or IDC alone, not how much heat you're making. The OPTIMAL settings are, as you say, based on the individual needs of a particular car (boost, ambient temp, intercooler size, compression ratio, ECU tune, etc).

You don't want to have the gain on so high that the system flows 100% DC before you hit redline. You want it to flow around 90-95% of flow around redline (AS A BASELINE). From there on, you can tune it on a dyno based on the individual car.

80% refers to the water duty cycle, and you might find that your car benefits from a water/meth flow rate of 80% of max water duty cycle.

You're not slow btw. I'm still learning about this system too

Met someone local whos got a 55gal drum of 99.9 methanol, offering to sell it to me for $4/gal because he doesn't go through it fast enough.... such a win compared to the $10/gal I pay at the race shops around here!

That sounds like really good deal. I only pay $4.50 gal here in NJ for meth. I told the guys at the local track you were paying $10 gal and even they said you were getting ripped off.

Oh trust me I know I'm getting ripped off haha. But I know all the shops around here are charging 50/5gal. I'll be happy to pay $4. As its getting warmer I need to find a new place to store the pail, as my balcony at my apartment isn't going to work too well anymore with the sun. The hot water heater room outside on the balcony is cooler, but it would be quite dumb to store it somewhere with an open flame. Not sure if I want to keep it inside? =\

Call me an idiot but I've been storing my 5 gal cans in my apt since day one. I just have a no bonfire rule in the livingroom.

I find that the no fires in the living room is a good policy.

So should b ok inside? Any issue with say a leaky cap and fumes filling the place? (I know it's a stretch but just saying)

RE: Aquamist HFS-3 and MINI Tank GB
Recently in NY a garage exploded and burned to the ground. They said the man had "racing fuel" in there. I was thinking about the 5 gals in my basement...
I may pour gas in the lawnmower while smoking, but I don't mess with the meth. Just be sure the cap is on, and no open flames, or like me, even glowing embers.

9 out of the 10 voices in my head are telling me to "Floor it!"
