Aquamist HFS-4 Release
I moved the flow sensor to the 12:00 position as Jeff suggested and it seems to be working properly. I also tapped the yellow wire for fuel pressure sensing. I currently have threshold, gain, and P/I all at 12:00. It's working well but I under some conditions it starts pumping at boost as low as 4psi. I'll probably try to bump that a little higher. Curious what settings others are running on the HFS4

RE: Aquamist HFS-4 Release
Only been running the HFS-4 for a week, but I've moved the Threshold from 10 oclock to 12. 10 starts spraying right when boost starts or any load hits the motor. 11 seems to be about 4-8psi depending on load. At 12, I've seen 10psi spikes without the spray being activated and didn't care for that. I keep turning it back to a hair past 11 since I'm concerned I am bogging the motor.
I've turned the gain up to 1 oclock. May try up to 2 and see when I hit 95%. Pretty much a stock JCW Coupe right now. I've left P/I alone for now and haven't played with switching to the MAP jumper yet. |

Aquamist HFS-4 Release
Curious if anyone came up with a good place on a R56 to tap the headlight voltage to enable the dimmer function on the HFS-4 board.

RE: Aquamist HFS-4 Release
Yep. It's a bunch of pages back. I'll see if I can find it.
It's under the battery tray. “Have you ever noticed how some people never
have the money to do it right, but can always find the money to do it twice ?” |
