It feels like a 4cyl. that has a lot of displacement. Roots chargers give the tq all the time. Makes for passing in 6th gear pretty easy. Turbo's give you a boost wall. Makes the car feel much faster then it really is sometimes because when you come into the wall it breaks the tires loose, because its a instant ramp up of tq and hp. |

In the Rotrex power is only a shift away, and two if your really impatient.
its a sub two liter motor, you cant always have your supermodel and bang her too... “Have you ever noticed how some people never

Its funny you say that Colin, because when people ride in my EVO they are like wow the spool sucks in this thing. I am always like well when you are full throttle you only have to spool it once, then if you are already moving, spool is just a downshift away....I never understood the reason people are so obsessed with spool...on a FWD car its just going to tear the tires away from the road when you have fast spool and instant tq. |

RE: TVS900 Basics
Gotta give to get in my book.
everyone wants everything all the time, no one chooses to look at spool lag or powerband as an advantage. thats a problem. “Have you ever noticed how some people never

Let's compare apples to apples... A Rotrex vs a Roots on a standard 1.6 MINI motor, running the same boost levels. Which is going to be faster in acceleration?
