RE: TVS900 Basics
Oh yeah, that guy...I remember on one of the other boards, he couldn't get the bytetronic to tune it properly.
Jan, maybe offer him a free tune, without the vipec you might not be able to get it perfect, but I'm sure you can do better than what he's got now--with a before and after, to show him the delta so that he KNOWS it's better, with the understanding that he'll take it to the track the same day the TVS is ready? There will still be haters/doubters, but it still should be worth something. The only good F56 is a dead F56

RE: TVS900 Basics
He tunes his little atv's at Church's. He asked Shawn to tune his car with bytronik, he told him he wouldn't touch it. LOL so there you are.......
He was running times around big willow that were 5sec slower than M45 cars so I can only imagine what Dan will do to him You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity "Tuning Matters" minimark Wrote: ....as silent as a freshly fallen snow on a crisp winter morning, a deafening hush falls across the land of Kool-Aid..... |

RE: TVS900 Basics
Dan will kill him, but part of that is Dan is damned good driver, he'd beat him if the cars were identical, and people who want to diss the TVS will discount any difference in the cars because of the driver rather than the cars themselves (although how anyone would in their right mind argue the Sprintex over the TVS is beyond me). What we really need is Dan and the other guy to drive both cars, but I doubt that will happen. Unless this guy thinks he's a better driver than Dan, then problem solved...

RE: TVS900 Basics
need to get a 100deg F day out at the track, then record how fast the laps are and the drop off after each lap for like 20laps........roflmao
that will tell the story You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity "Tuning Matters" minimark Wrote: ....as silent as a freshly fallen snow on a crisp winter morning, a deafening hush falls across the land of Kool-Aid..... |

RE: TVS900 Basics
Didn't think about that--maybe that's the way to go, watch the lap times from start to finish, that takes the difference in ability out of the equation.
Or, you could take the bearings out of the SC's of both cars after each session, and see who's would fry an egg... The only good F56 is a dead F56

no way I'm getting near that Sprintex after a run on the track in 100deg heat......not without a fire suit and extinguisher

RE: TVS900 Basics
Seriously, you hold the trump card here, you bailed on the Sprintex when it failed testing, the TVS does what it's supposed to do, which we're all sure it will, and you can put out objective data, it's case closed. People who've made up their mind before the TVS has been tested will still argue, we know who they are, but anyone coming into the game from here on out should be able to see what's real and what isn't.

We boiled dry ice in 1 lap at VIR...........MIATA Mark... was there!
