That's why I can't wait for the TVS to be ready for prime time--I don't think anyone who seriously knows anything believes you couldn't tune the sprintex, or any other combination of parts on a MINI. The other argument is that they somehow changed it to make it better since you had it, but that doesn't hold water either--they have changed it multiple times since then, and there's still issues.

The fact is you dropped a product that could have made you some money, which would have been in your best short term self interest considering you put time into testing the thing and essentially came away empty handed. That speaks volumes, and no matter how people try to distort it, it's the truth.

The other fact is there is a reason Rick came to you first, rather than Mynes, which people have conveniently forgotten.

I hope they do get their post ready, and are just waiting to hit the send button...So am I LOL....

Rick Rimmer is a crooked old pice of shit IMHO.

I shulda followed my gut instinct about him and just walked the hell out of BoosTec when I went to pick up my hotplate. I didn't even want to talk to him there at his shop. Guy couldn't keep a straight story, couldn't keep eye contact, and said "ugh" A LOT if you asked him any questions. I bullshited with one of the fab guys for a while, and he seemed to have a clue of what he was talking about, but Rick would always jump in and say that it isn't nessicary to change anything on the system.

you should see all of the emails between me and Rick and Sprintex. The guys from Australia at least were honest guys and paid me back a chunk of what I put into it unlike Rick who was going to stiff me. The guy is a massive liar

Truth, one lap and two hours later you still couldn't touch the pulley, no exaggeration... Only thing that builds heat quicker than that thing did is a blow torch...

I'd like to see both a Shitex and a TVS out at the same time and would accept the challenge but there are other factors at work as well.

Driver capability.......brakes.......tires......suspension....aero and other mods and settings....track familiarity......car weight.....etc., etc.

The real truth lies on the dyno. Two cars with the sames mods.....one with TVS and one without.
I'm not sure how closely matched your new dyno is to the one we've used at Church's Jan but if they're close we should be able to get some usable data for comparison.......

Can't wait to see it run...... uhh, guess I'll have to though ....... Wolfman

Its close enough, the power delta will be pretty extreme from the TVS to the M45 or Sprintex, really the results will be telling in how many runs it will take before the system heat soaks.
and how it provides the power though the curve.
I think that the way the TVS is much more efficient as a super charger will show through not only in the peak numbers as everyone is excited about but also the midrange and bottom end power delivery.
Should be interesting to see how the results pan out.

Ok, the manifold that will fit Rotrex cars AND TVS cars is getting there.........
the area all the way down to the flange between the runners is now finished. The first port is also done on the rough cut. It will get a finishing pass, all this takes time to get the machine speed set right for the proper finish. It has a very long bit on it so keeping the chatter/vibration down is the key. So far am pleased with the very first one. It's coming along nicely. In other news the tensioner has been a bitch and I'll be looking for a better solution on the production kits but we have a temporary solution while we test. It's more important to get the testing done while we get the other system built.

Ok smartass..... I was actually asking for a serious reason. Why aren't they roughing out the inside ports as the rough out the outside profile? It would seriously cut down on the chatter depth they have to finish cut through.
